The purpose of the MSc in Arterial Hypertension and Related Cardiovascular-kidney diseases is to provide high-level postgraduate education in the scientific field of arterial hypertension and related cardiovascular and kidney diseases.

The duration of the studies leading to the Master's Degree is four (4) academic semesters, which also includes the time for preparing the diploma thesis.

By the end of the Postgraduate Master’s Program, the student will be able to:

To manage patients with idiopathic or secondary arterial hypertension

To manage and treat hypertensive patients with cardiovascular and/or kidney diseases

To contribute to the prevention of arterial hypertension and related cardiovascular and kidney diseases

To deal with the complications of arterial hypertension and the coexisting diseases

To be employed in public and private sector positions that require specialized knowledge in the management of issues related to the management of patients with arterial hypertension and cardiovascular-kidney diseases

To be employed in Intensive Care Units for patients with related diseases

To be employed in Cardiology Units and Nephrology Departments in the public and private sector

To be employed in positions that require a high level of knowledge and skills in the related subject

To carry out clinical research in the field of arterial hypertension, cardiovascular medicine, and nephrology
